Dinah England trained in theatre design at Nottingham Trent University and then worked as resident designer for the Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch from 1997 to 2004.

Since leaving the Queen’s Theatre her designs include set and costumes for the UK production of Murderous Instincts which premiered at Theatre Royal Norwich and The Savoy Theatre, London, Year 10 for The Finborough Theatre, Battersea Arts Centre (Time Out Critics Season), Le Théâtre National de Strasbourg and the Festival de Théâtre in Rennes, Martha Josie and the Chinese Elvis for Salisbury Playhouse, Room at the Top and It’s a Fine Life (costume) for the Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch, Time of My Life, A Night in Provence and The Heiress for The Mill at Sonning, The Card for Arts Ed. London and A Victorian Music Hall for East 15.

Dinah is represented by Associated Arts and is a member of The Society of British Theatre Designers and Equity.
